BORLETTI-BUITONI TRUST MUSICIANS IN THE STUDIO
BBT supports its young award winners in many ways, one of the most popular being a recording. Negotiations with Rubicon Classics have resulted in these projects for 2019.

These important masterworks for the viola that show this Norwegian violist’s versatility and virtuosity. The Ysaÿe has not been recorded before and the Barratt-Due was commissioned specially for Eivind (by the BBC when he was a New Generation Artist) and premiered at the Edinburgh Festival. Eivind is the first violist to be signed by Rubicon and plays the G.B.Guadagnini ‘ex-Vieuxtemps’ viola 1768 that Henry Vieuxtemps himself played.
