BBT marked its fifth anniversary with two highly successful tours of the USA and Europe featuring a special chamber ensemble comprising Martin Fröst clarinet, Soovin Kim violin, Christian Poltéra cello and Llŷr Williams piano led by Mitsuko Uchida. At the heart of the programme was Messiaen’s iconic Quatuor pour la fin du temps.
