BBT celebrated its 10th anniversary with a hugely successful weekend of events and concerts featuring 20 of the decade’s award-winners and founding BBT trustee Mitsuko Uchida. The Queen Elizabeth Hall at London’s Southbank Centre buzzed with crowds of people filing into recitals and masterclasses. Appreciative audiences also demonstrated great reluctance to go home after the late-night Front Room concerts! The weekend featured three evening concerts; four masterclasses for oboe, clarinet, percussion and bassoon, given by BBT artists for post-graduate students from the London conservatories; three pre-concert talks; two late night concerts and a provocative debate: ‘Is Talent Enough?’
