Born into a musical family, Vietnamese pianist Khanh Nhi Luong was cited “a rising star of exceptional sensitivity and imagination” at the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition where she won third prize. She is consistently praised for her vivid artistry and commanding stage presence and performs across three continents as a recitalist and soloist with leading symphony orchestras. Khanh Nhi is an enthusiastic advocate for new and culturally diverse repertoire and is co-founder of the Lunar New Year Piano Concert Series in Michigan, USA which is dedicated to presenting a fusion of East Asian music traditions.
Khanh Nhi graduated from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore and attained her Masters degree at the University of Michigan, where she continues to pursue her Doctor of Musical Arts. Her BBT Fellowship joins numerous international prizes and awards and she is looking forward to the release of her debut recording on Signum Records in 2026.
