Dimitri Maslennikov - About

Winning a BBT Fellowship gave me amazing opportunities of artistic and professional development and strong encouragement with my projects. Thank you for this exceptional humanity and understanding of artists.

Dimitri Maslennikov (2006)

Dimitri Maslennikov was born in St Petersburg and began his musical education aged five, studying in Russia and France. His early prizewinning years (he won the International Young Soloists contest in Moscow at 11 years old as well as the Rostropovitch and Tchaikovsky Awards among others) soon led to top level performances with leading orchestras and conductors in prestigious concert halls and at festivals throughout Europe, Asia and the US.

His BBT Fellowship enabled him to repair his cello and purchase a new bow, as well as a computer.

Dimitri was supported with a BBT Fellowship between 2005 and 2007.
